We at Evans strongly believe in a special role of business in the community. This is especially important in a country like Russia, where great potential and wealth lives side by side with need and poverty. It is very important for Evans to be a good member of our community. Therefore, we are making an effort to make a difference in the lives of those around us, be that our clients, employees or those who are in need.
In Russia, charity and community work is still developing and is mostly led by members of the expatriate community. Thanks to these enthusiasts, today there are many organizations helping children, the elderly, disabled, sick and homeless in Russia. We welcome you to join these efforts. There are many exciting projects that you can get involved with, donate to or just learn about and spread the word!
Help Elena Adamyants fight cancer
Our very own Elena Adamyants, who helped some of you find your home in Moscow, was diagnosed with rare type of leukemia about a year ago. So far, she went through several types of very difficult treatments including many rounds of chemotherapy. Unfortunately, it is not enough and she needs a bone marrow transplant. The donor, however, has to come from abroad, because there is no testing system and proper legislation in place for arranging for a local donor. Initial expenses are about 30,000 euro. This amount will cover donor selection, payment to the bone marrow bank, transportation costs, and post-transplant treatment. Elena and her family were carrying the cost of treatment so far, but they are unable to pay for the foreign donor and expensive supporting medications, which are both vital. She needs your help.

Kirov Orphanage House
This orphanage house is located 400 kilometers away from Moscow or a 4-5 hour drive south. Therefore, it is slightly too far from Moscow and its charity organizations and as a result is not noticed by any of those. When we visited the children the first time we were met with some skepticism as it turned out that nobody had every visited the orphanage more than once. That is how we made a decision to do what we can to help these children in spite of the distance and time involved. Please join us in helping orphan children from Kirov, come visit them with us!
